What is Career Guidance?
With so many choices, how can you be sure your teenager is choosing a career where they will gain high levels of satisfaction in years to come? Our Career Guidance service is tailored to assist individuals aged between 15 and 21 identify occupations where they are likely to gain high levels of both personal and professional satisfaction. Career guidance provides individuals with a greater understanding of self as well as the industries where they likely to value and enjoy. Ultimately it provides the insight to make better informed decisions in relation to career direction. Envisage Group Psychologists are trained to assist teenagers work through their career choices and establish a career path that best suits their individual style.

What are the benefits of Career Guidance?
Our Psychologists are experienced and trained to assist your teenager to explore, understand and utilise their potential. Through diagnosing their occupational interests and personality attributes via reputable psychometric based career and personality inventories, we are able to provide them with the insight, strategies, tools and guidance to move them towards reaching a successful career outcome.
What does the service offer?

Full 8-10 page comprehensive report detailing assessment results inclusive of a range of highlight occupation choices |

One on one session with a Psychologist. This session will utilize the assessment results to explore different occupations and discuss the necessary steps needed to obtain highlighted occupations of interest |
How to we get started?
Aptitude Testing Sessions are held every 2nd & 4th Saturday of each month at 9am. Testing can take between 20 minutes – 1 1/2 hours, depending on choice of tests to be utilised. These can include (verbal, numerical, general reasoning, mechanical, spatial) Personality & Interests inventories can be conducted online and are available within 24 hours after your request has been received.
Bookings
As we experience very busy times of the year, especially leading up to university placement picks, bookings for the Saturday testing sessions are essential and must be confirm one week prior to testing. Once testing is completed a feedback session will be arranged and finally the report will be collated detailing both the results and discussion and be mailed to you within a week of the feedback session.
